***  RE-OPENING WEDNESDAY 17th JUNE *** Now we are in June and we have clarification from Boris that we can re-open our doors from Monday 15th June. I, along with many friends and colleagues who are in the retail business, are so looking forward, (whilst a little anxious), to welcome everyone back in store.     It's Thursday, the sun is shining and there isn't a cloud in the sky. I've been for a run, taken Bailey out for a gorgeous walk, enjoyed a delicious snacky lunch and caught up with two lovely friends; a friend of over 30 years who lives in New York and another who used to work for one of my suppliers. All in all, a really wonderful way to spend a day in limbo. Its Monday... Apparently... In recent weeks, we haven't been actively promoting the website. We're only three days in since our enforced closure of the shop. My daughter and niece have escaped London and headed west to Bath and together we're huddled (not literally) at home, along with Bailey the cocker spaniel... who, by the way, is thrilled at having so many of us here. The shop is closed for the foreseeable future. On the one day I had to go to the shop to collect some things, Wells was like a ghost town. Thank Heavens.
